VICT AETERN Victory flying left, holding open wreath in both hands over shield set on low base. BMC 247. Cohen 206. RIC 23. Nicely toned and with an exceptional portrait. The reverse a bit weak, otherwise, about extremely fine.

From the Joseph Markowitz Collection (1897-1981), brought to Israel in 1949 and kept in the family ever since.
